I am male ,76 years of age. I am getting up 2-3 times at night for urination. I was advised by urologist to take a tablet of Flotral every night which I am taking since last 5 yrs. Is there any better alternative in medicine or surgery to avoid getting up at night.

Hello seems like prostatic symptoms. Yes thr are better medications. But first get a urine examination, a fasting blood sugar and USG pelvis for prostate done. After that better options can be discussed. Till then you should continue with your medications. Regards.
