Allopathy doctor advised to stop the medicines but there is still mild pleural effusion in my left lung and by that cough and cold remains there every time. Is there any treatment to clear that mild pleural effusion? Because I also having problem while breathing. Surgeon with whom I got treated at 2014 told me that it is okay now but im X ray it stills showing mild pleural effusion. So please do suggest me best that what can I do now its been 4 years now. Please.

Mild pleural effusion can not be detected in xray chest.Need ultrasound chest. May be just pleural thickening as effusion should not persist for 4 years
