My baby is 8 months old. I) How much water can I give to her? I am at present giving 60 ml juices twice. Or once juice and once buttermilk is it okay? Ii) What all foods can I introduce to my daughter. Iii) Mother milk is nil as my milk production stopped at 7th month and from starting also its very less inspite of many attempts. So can I introduce cow milk of some quantity? Iv) what all foods or liquids I can give to decrease my baby body heat? Please do help me with your valuable suggestions.

More or less you can give her all foods. Just take care not to give too much. When a child refuses food, stop it. Don?t force. Give water at regular intervals and also when child demands. Give her something at regular intervals.

I) not more than 2 ounces per 24 hours. Juice is OK if baby is 8 months old. Buttermilk is gud for baby. II) You can give oatmeal ,vegetable khichdi and other light food. III) I Will not recommend to give cow's milk as a replacement for breast milk until 12 months of age.
