I am a 25-year-old male. My uric acid levels are mostly in the higher range (6-7 mg/dL). Do I really need to worry about my uric acid levels which seem to be high for my age bracket? If yes, then how can I reduce my uric acid levels without medication?

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Your uric acid level is in the upper limit of normal. That is fine. If there are no joint pains or gout like symptoms then do not wory at all. To reduce uric acid, one has too avoid foods like red meat, organ meat, certain sea foods, sweetened aerated drinks and alcohol. Thanks.
