Hi I am 19 week pregnant and had anomaly scan. The scan shows hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS). Also the long bones are short and hands are polydactyly. The baby is lagging 2 weeks growth. The doctor advised to terminate the pregnancy. Kindly let me know whether to terminate the pregnancy or take a chance to continue the pregnancy thinking the scan may not be accurate.

Hi, It's a very tough decision to terminate a pregnancy at this point of time, but if you are in a dilemma, please do a repeat Anomaly scan urgently from somewhere else, and if the second scan is consistent with the previous scan, it's better that you take the tough decision of termination before it's too late (20 weeks)
