Vitiligo has some familial predisposition, but this does not mean that your child will surely have vitiligo. Basically, vitiligo is multi-factorial etiology and nobody is immune to it. Anyone can get vitiligo in his lifetime irrespective of whether his mother or father had vitiligo or not. So don't worry and plan for your pregnancy. All the best!
