Kindly use ortrivin containing sodium chloride for nasal blockage. Do not use otrivin containing xylometazoline or any other content. Otrivin s (nasal saline drops) can be used again and again for nasal blockage/mild cough/respiratory sounds/snorring. It is salt water and safe in infants even if used again and again. Don't place drops in both nose simultaneously as this will irritate the child as they breath from nose primarily. First place 2 drops in blocked nose and after 5-10 mins in another nose. Then clean the nose with cotton.
