I am 24 years old having hypothyroidism with tsh level of 9 first and used the thyronorm 50 mg and it is been reduced to 0.001 and I want to pregnant what should I do now?

Shailaja ji, Thanks for the query. WHen on treatment with adequate dosage of Levothyroxine, TSH is maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L, at which all the symptoms are in control. But if one desires to have pregnancy then TSH should be <2 mU/L. But current level 0.001 mU/L is too low. You may have to reduce the dosage by 12.5 mcg per day, then check TSH again after 6 weeks.
