Hi my 9 year old has kidney disease and headaches also has seizures but has been prescribed 2.5 mg of pizotifen and 10 mg amitriptyline to take both in morning. Is this okay?

Pizotifen belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines or antiserotonin agents. These work by blocking chemicals that act on the blood vessels in the brain. Pizotifen tablets may be used to prevent headaches including migraine or cluster headaches. Your son may have allergic headaches and this is ok.
