Dear, generally rubella vaccine is given in childhood at the age of 8-10 months in immunisation schedule of babies. But it can be given at any age. First check out whether you had vaccinated for rubella in childhood in your childhood immunisation card. If you did not get vaccine of rubella in childhood then it very important to get vaccine now. Because you are female and to get protection from rubella in this age and in future pregnancy, you should definitely get vaccine of rubella. Rubella vaccine is generally given to every baby in world as per guided by who organization. So rubella vaccine is safe and if you did not get vaccine in childhood then get vaccinated. Be healthy.
