Dear Sanjay, Schizophrenia is a chronic disorder. The drugs needs to be adjusted periodically depending on her improvement and side effects. She is still taking the previous century's drugs. Now a days second generation antipsychotics are available. They are more effective with less side effects. Please consult your doctor without stopping these tablets. Shifting to newer drugs will be done gradually, depending on the need.
