My baby is 40 days old and her one eyes have problem yellow and Dr. give drops tobramycin ophthalmic solutions usp but after use baby eyes reddish why.

The redness could be due to conjunctivitis, tobramycin is a safe drop and can be put for babies. If there is watering and discharge right from birth there could be a nasolacrimal duct blockage. However child needs to be examined in person. If redness is still persisting you are advised to see some ophthalmologist in your city soon.
