Hi 66 years my father had two months ago below knee amputation in right leg (accident case n spinal injury) he is also diabetic on glycomet 500 mg from last two months .his reports are coming normal last 10 feb is f.b.s 89.7 p.p b.s 130 hbalc 6.9 pls advise of dose reduction is needed.

Hba1c is 6.9 and sugar values are ok he has to continue the same dosage of medicine for diabetes provided the tests were taken while he was on medicine since your father is only 66 years old kindly rehabilitate him by providing a prosthesis at the earliest did the spinal injury produce any residual effects?
