My kid's 3 months completed. During the vaccination, we just administered penta, roca and polio drops. Pneumococcal was not administered. Is it ok to give it after 3 days of vaccination of penta. Should it be given only together or with a gap of 4 weeks? Different doctors have different take on this. I don't know whom to follow. Please suggest.

Pneumococcal vaccine is given at 6,10 and 14 weeks of age with dpt if not given then it can be given at 10,14 and 18 weeks. Though it can be given early I would advice you to go after 4 weeks with next routine schedule to keep it in a systematic way.

You can go with pneumococcal vaccine. No harm. Two live vaccines require a gap of one month for e.g. Mmr and chickenpox.

Pneumococcal vaccines can be given at any gap with other live or inactivated vaccines. But follow the schedule advised by your pediatrician.
