Hello doctor, my daughter is 26 weeks pregnant, when she had a 23rd week ultrasound scan the doctor told that the baby's one of the kidneys is big 3 mm ,and asked her to do follow up scans ,is it something serious or will the size correct by the time of delivery. She has been prescribed ecosprin 150 mg .she is 24 years n this is her first child.

Fetus os havi g renal pelviectasis .nothing to worry .in about 97%of cases it resolves spontaneously by 28-32 weeks of pregnancy .get a repeat ultrasound done at 30-32 weeks of pregnancy.
