Good Morning Doctor, I have already undergone surgery of one leg, i.e. Total knee replacement (left). My second leg has also torn cartilage and suppose to undergo another surgery of my other leg (right) some what I am holding on to surgery, but sometimes my knee pains. Usually I like to walk but due to knee problem my walking has become less and I have tendency of putting weight, so I go for walk sometimes but later on I feel pain. Article suggests that I should take rest, or apply ice therapy, by doing will pain subside. I don't know how long I will be able to prevent surgery. I shall be grateful if you can suggest what exactly I can do. Thanking you.

You should go for surgery because with aging recovery will be more difficult. You can consult me at Lybrate for joint pain till you decide.
