I have a low ggt of 6.6 u/l, high albumin serum of 5.0, low globulin serum of 1.60 and bilirubin direct is 0.3 as per liver function test. One year back I had a bbf negative hbsag elisa test and again I have got this test done the result of which will be out on tuesday. So, I would like to have your views on the above numbers and what does it suggest. If anything wrong then what symptoms one might have because right now I am having none except having a bit of hearing loss issues to the extent of 55 db in the right ear and 45 db in the left year for which I was advised to undergo a mri of brain. The other tests like liver function test were done because my father had liver related issues by birth.

According to medical science, the normal range for ggt levels is 9?48 units per liter (u/l). Normal values can vary due to age and sex. The ggt test can diagnose liver damage, but it can't determine the cause. If your ggt level is elevated, you'll probably have to undergo more tests. Elevated levels may be due to liver diseases, such as hepatitis or cirrhosis, but they may also be due to other conditions, such as congestive heart failure, diabetes, or pancreatitis. A low or normal ggt test result indicates that it is unlikely that a person has liver disease or has consumed any alcohol. As seen in your report.
