I have 2 years old boy baby. who is very active all the time. I recently observed that when ever he sits and get up a typical sound is heard from his knee some thing like click'. I consulted the doctor he said it may be either rupture of soft knee bone or calcium deficiency. So started using calcimax p syrup. I am confused now, is it because a deficiency problem or the normal rupture sound. Please explain.

Dear friend, it seems normal. Calcium deficiency in children is not common, it may be vitamin d deficiency. You should start vitamin d after consult with paediatrician or contact any laboratory to check vitamin d level. For further assistance, feel free to contact me anytime.
