I am 30 yo married and trying to conceive super irregular period. My doc said that the follicle size is small. And hence gave me meprate to induce period so that she can give me medicines for proper ovulation from the next cycle. Its been 25 days since I finished my last dose and no period yet. Met the doctor today and she asked me to wait one more week. Why my period did not arrive?

Hello, There are many reasons for irregular periods, like anxiety, stress, thyroid dysfunction, increased prolactin level, sudden weight gain and most important pcos. You must exclude pregnancy by urine for pregnancy test and if negative the following baseline investigations should be done: usg lower abdomen blood for cbc, tsh,prolactin and fsh. Based on your report, medications need to be prescribed.
