Hello, Thanks for the query. The glucose levels mentioned (FBG 230 mg & PP350 mg) both are too high, suggesting totally uncontrolled diabetes. What is the HbA1c%? Please get that checked, it gives an idea about long term control of diabetes. It is clear that current treatment is not adequate enough, there is an urgent need for upgrading it. Ideally in well controlled diabetic person FBG should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% < 6.8%. So there is a need to give a closer look at your treatment which includes drugs, diet pattern and extent of daily exercise. Since there is no mention of either the weight or height and extent of daily exercise, it is difficult to give any suggestions. Thanks.

Hi Mr. lybrate-user! as your fasting sugars are high the current medicines are definitely not sufficient. You may require an additional medicine at night to bring down the fasting sugars.
