Hello doctor. Accidentally pricked my self with hiv positive insulin needle (nano bd .4 mm) on jan 7th. I took pep treatment and it was completed on feb 7th. After 9 days pep completion hiv rna pcr and hiv 4th generation tests are negative (logically 38 days after exposure). And elisa test result is negative on 60 days post exposure. And western bolt test on 90 days of exposure is also negative. Can I stop the test? Is my results are conclusive?

Hello and welcome to Lybrate. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. With the results given after 90 days, it is negative and therefore you are free of hiv for the time being. No need to worry. I suggest telephonic counseling for you. You can contact me for further advice and treatment options. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.
