Difficulty in urine passing from past 1 year. Taking mirbeg 25 mg and dynapres 0.4 from 1 year. As soon as the medication is stopped issues relapses. Need to wake up thrice to pee at the time of sleep.

if after stopping medicine you face same problem and if your age is around 60 then you are a candidate for prostate surgery. because failure of medication is an indication for surgery.

Mr. lybrate-user, You have not mentioned your ultrasound details and other requisite lab reports. I presume you are having benign prosthetic enlargement. From the history perspective it seems to b medically responsive currently. So you have both options open with you viz. Surgical intervention as a one time definitive management or you can keep on taking medical therapy as long as you want. Mir beg you can intermittently whenever you get urgency symptoms.
