I had a hydrocelectomy on my right testis but it developed again on the left. The last time I saw a doctor, he told me to wait till it grows bigger before another surgery can be done. It's two years now and the size hasn't changed much. I'm confused cos i'm not comfortable with it.

Hi Anderson first what’s the volume of hydrocele if it’s more than 10 ml it can be operated usually hydrocele is because of filariasis get that filariasis antigen tested along with Usg abdomen and scrotum if volume is more get it operated if volume is less and antigen is positive conservative treatment is the right approach

It will entirely depend upon the size and discomfort you are having. So, if very small, get you test done for filariasis and get treated with medicines. If large enough to cause discomfort. Surgery remains the only option.
