Schizophrenia is quite a debilitating disease and you should not attempt to regulate or discontinue the medication on your own. If after three years of regular use and without any relapses, it is possible to wean your mom off of the medication but that also in tiny doses. This should be completely managed by your doctor. She should also go for counseling parallely. If she is not cooperative you can ask your doctor for doses/medicines that can be administered through her food without her knowledge.
