I'm 33 year old. I had undergone surgery for a tibia and fibula open fracture 11 months back. My tibia bone has not yet joined. There is still a clear gap in the x-ray. Doctors are suggesting another surgery to remove all the nails and leave just one rod inside. Should I go ahead?

You have malunion of the fracture site and need to do as your doctors say for healing it and you can take a second opinion with the x rays from another doctor.
