Dear, trapex is not a long term medication for a schizoaffective person like you. If you take for a long term, it will be difficult for you to stop. On the other hand, you may increase the dose yourself. Along with alcohol, trapex may give you more drowsiness and you can not ride a bike or drive. So it is better for you to take 1/2 tablet for few days and take it only when you feel like taking alcohol. Valpore needs to be given in a proper dose. Please consult your psychiatrist and discuss. Just 500 mg may not be sufficient to keep you normal forever.
