I have a small piles. So I was using ointment for that when I didn't notice that there was someone blood near the opening of the ointment tube. It was not my blood. So I without knowing applied the ointment with blood in my piles which was a bit open and burning. I am scared now. Can it cause hiv or hep? The ointment is pileum cream. Can the blood go inside the piles. I didn't know about the blood on the opening of the ointment tube until next day. So I didn't wash it off too. When I simply poured water the next day once but I didn't scrub off the ointment. So when I poured the water, the water along with the ointment came to the front part. Can that go inside through my private part because I didn't scrub off the ointment with my hand for the whole day. I just simply poured water once and I didn't touch it for the whole day. So I think the ointment and water stayed there and also came to the front part and can it go inside from there. What to do? Can it cause hiv or hep? Please reply.

Hi, No need to worry about the incident. Hiv and hepatitis spread only from known carriers so no need to worry about just knows the person who used it previously. The chance of transfer is also very less I just need to know why was there some other blood on the ointment? Just leave positive feedback if helpful.
