I have rectal bleeding for past one week. I am taking pilex tab (2 tablet two times a day) and triphala (2 tabs in the afternoon). I had done a blood check. Alt value is 53 and bilirubin-23.9. Indirect bilirubin-17. Bleeding is maroon colour and its there for past 1 week every time I go to bathroom. Is it due to lever problem, or due to prolapse of hemorrhoids. What treatment should I take?

Lybrate-user, First of all get yourself checked by a surgeon near to your home to rule out bleeding piles or any liver problem. If your bilirubin is 23, you should be admitted to a tertiary care hospital but I think it must be 2.3, please check it. Don't ignore the bleeding and please get it checked.
