I had an natural abortion on 26th april. There after I experienced bleeding which stopped then again it started after that I got ultrasound scan which revealed retained products left over for which I was admitted in the hospital for 4 days. For which they gave me misoprostol tablet day and night 2each. Then after few days when I scanned everything seemed cleared and there so no retained products left and I was home. For 2 days I had bit spotting now from a week again there is dark brown discharge. What should I do? Is it a problem for me. I am fed up with this I am always bleeding down. Pls help.

Do not worry spotting or brown discharge is normal for 2 to 3 weeks after natural abotion. Wait for a while it will become alright. But if the amount of bleeding is above 4 to 5 pads a day then its a concern.

Get your serum beta hcg levels, if still there are some retained products of conception then your hcg levels will be raised, and accordingly, you will be treated. If hcg levels are in nonpregnant range then you can take oral contraceptive pills for a few cycles to regularize your periods.
