Doctors, my mother had stage 2b cervical cancer which was diagnosed in September 2018 and treated her with concurrent ct+radiation therapy. The treatment plan was of 25 radiotherapies and 3 brachytherapies and weekly 5 (cisplatin) chemotherapies. Having completed treatment doctor reviewed her after one month and gave the date of review after 6 months. But the review date is still far. Now since the last 10-12, she feels upper pelvis slight swelling, mild to moderate pain in pelvis and back i.e, the immediate above of the centre of the buttock and also pain at the time of urination and making out stool. But observed no vaginal and rental bleeding or any watery discharge. Do the above symptoms signify cancer has recurred? What can I do for?

These symptoms cant be justified for recurring of the cancer unless we examine or by doing an imaging study. It can also be due to the body's weakness of undergoing chemo radiotherapy. she might have back pain and bone due to the same. consult your doctor if the pain is intolerable
