Can I know the difference between xylometazoline and oxymetazoline? Both of these drugs were prescribed by two different doctors. I would like to choose the one which is less side effective.

There is no considerable difference between xylometazoline and oxymetazoline and both are used to dilate the blood vessels in the nose to remove the nasal block as occurs in cold and allergy. However, the oxymetazoline is used in children who cannot use the xylometazoline.
