I have pcod and I am newly married. Before marriage I was instructed to use regestrone 10 tablets for a month in case of irregular periods but I stopped using it since 2018 since I have changed my lifestyle and started exercising. I got married this year on the month of may and used a 10 tablets (regestrone) later after marriage since I was not able to do exercises and the periods were not regular. Is it advisable to use regestrone? What are the chances of pregnancy and if it happens that I get pregnant how does this regestrone effect?

It is okay to take regesterone for periods. But even more important is to know the cause of delayed periods. In case you miss your periods, take a test after 5 to 6 days for confirmation of pregnancy.
