My kid is 3 years old and we are trying to join her in play school. She naturally does not want to go, but currently we are forcing her. I am not comfortable with that and worried how far this could affect her psychologically, but this is the norm in india. After a month or so, kids get accustomed to the situation, and go whether they like or not. Some even seem to enjoy so my wife says, our kid might also enjoy after a while. But I am concerned about the system, which does not provide smooth transition for the kid to like the school. How should we handle this scientifically? Pre schools normally do not allow parents inside after a week maximum, but its crude to expect a kid of 3 years, to start liking an alien environment rest of her life in a weeks time. Kindly advice. I am concerned mainly on the repercussions this could bring to her mental and physical health.
