I have stopped using censpram 10 mg once a day and venlor xr 75 once a day. Coz I was feeling more anxious by taking meds for the last 7 months. Only taking petril 0.5 mg in morning and 0.25 mg in night. Also sos. Now I am feeling highly anxious and sort of depression specially hyperacidity nd nausea which is 24x7. Lost 3 kgs in the mean time. please suggest minimum dose of meds.

Dear Xyz, If you are suffering from a depressive disorder, then censpram and venlor kind of tablets only you need. Petril is given temporarily for 3-4 weeks till the antidepressants start working. If you take it for longer time, you may become dependent on it. Sos becomes for trivial problems. So you need more dose for the same effect. Now that you have weight loss also, it is better for you to get investigated and assessed properly before going on tablets. There are many other groups of antidepressants apart from censpram and venlor.
