I'm a 25 year old female who had a seizure once. Upon consulting doctor and go through various processes like eeg, mri etc. Nothing wrong was found in the reports. All the reports were clean. However doctor have prescribed levipil 1000 mg (2 times morning and at night). Is this really required. He says the tablets have to be continued for at least 2 to 3 years before stopping it completely. Being a recently married woman, i'm scared about taking these prescriptions during pregnancy. However the doctor says the tablets are absolutely fine and it can be continued even during pregnancy. Please guide me one these 2 points specifically: 1. Inspite of getting an eeg & mri clean reports, are the 1000 mg levipil tablets really required? If yes, should should it necessarily be taken for 3 straight years. 2. Can I get pregnant. If yes, can I continue with the medicines?
