When we donate blood, they (the blood collector) check the blood whether it is infected or not. They check it for hiv also. Than they give a report. Is this report a final report. I mean do I need to get my self tested for hiv.

Hello and Welcome to Lybrate, I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Usually yes. If your blood is checked by blood bank for hiv, there is no need to worry about hiv for the time being. I suggest telephonic counseling and online psychotherapy for you. You can contact me for further advice and treatment options. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.
