I'm 20 year old. I had a medical abortion with misoprostol 8 weeks into my pregnancy, I used 4 please orally then another 4 then 2. I didn't experience any bleeding or cramping till 12 hours after the initial dose and I passed out two large clots but the bleeding didn't last for more than a couple of hours. I experienced bleeding again three days later but it didn't last long either then didn't bleed again till 10 days after. I suspect that the abortion was incomplete but my pregnancy symptoms are reducing. Is it safe to repeat the medical abortion process?

Do your urine pregnancy test, if positive it means abortion is incomplete or failed abortion. If urine pregnancy test is positive then get an ultrasound done, if on ultrasound incomplete or failed abortion is confirmed then you will have to go for surgical abortion. If urine pregnancy test is negative then nothing to be done.

No. You have already taken the medicine quite late in pregnancy. Do a sonography to confirm abortion or pregnancy or retained products of conception. Consult a local gynaec for the same.
