I felt acid reflux 8 days back and taking pantocid made the symptoms better, but since 4 days I feel mild chest pain on right side with little heaviness at the center of chest. The pain goes away on its own and comes back suddenly but usually stays all day. Should I take pantocid 40 for few days or should I go to doctor for endoscopy. Can chest pain due to reflux last more than 3-4 days? Can it be because of ulcers? Please suggest something.

dyspepsia. You can continue medicines that reduce stomach acidity. Improve your diet. Stomach is sensitive to acid if it gets injured by sugar and starch. Be willing to take traditional health foods that have no or low glucose content.
