I was on a playground today and whacked my shin on a bar on the playground. It hurts to move my foot up towards my knee, there is a bump on my leg where I banged it and it really hurts. Did I break it?

Dear Lybrate user, - give rest to the limb - apply ice pack for 5-10 min 3 times a day on the affected area - apply pain relief gel three times a day - take a pain relief tablet after meals 2-3 times a day - get x-ray of the affected area to rule out any bony injury.
