My husband is 62. Little bleeding he was having with urine. Doctor has advised him to take honvan 120 mg. His biopsy report is benign. He had operation of prostrate gland in 2006. Recent psa report is 8.4. After taking honvan the bleeding has stopped but there is frequent urination and burning sensation during urination. What is the ultimate solution?

Get yourself investigated, get a trans rectal ultrasound done, if any suspicious areas are seen in prostate then get a trans rectal ultrasound guided / mri guided prostatic biopsy, following which your urologist may suggest a psma pet ct and a prostatic mri, after which medications may be changed/ modified.
