I?m 23 years old and suffering from pcos my treatment is going on .i don?t get pds from last few months can I take regestrone to get my periods.

Hello. Pcos is associated with increased insulin and increased androgen levels which impairs the release of eggs from ovaries and causes menstrual dysfunction. Treatment mainly involves lifestyle modification and medications. Lifestyle modification includes. Avoiding weight gain avoiding high calorie food eating small meals at regular intervals daily brisk walk for 30 min regular exercises.in your case, once you exclude pregnancy you may take regesterone to get your periods.
