I'm 39 year old man, suffering from cough. What are the dosage of kuff q nf? Should I take amoxicillin 500 along with, if yes disagree?

You need to see a physician 1st & then start medicine, cough doesnot always mean chest infection, so antibiotic will not help you out if it is not due to infection, rather it would harm you in different way by making any of the microrganisms be it commensal or pathogenic (commensal can turn pathogenic if colony count becomes more than allowed level or if patient is immunocompromised, etc.) resistant to that particular antibiotic & related antibiotics which you will spread through your handshake, cough, sneeze, spiting, making other people ill, everything will go on without you being detecting anything because they are invisible to naked eye, anyways cough can be due to various reasons, allergy, irritation, infection, anything be it micro or macro that crosses or touches the vocal cord causes cough, moreover expectoration along with cough also doesnot confirm infection because chemical irritation like smoking, pollution, dusts, pollens etc. Cause irritation & give sputum along with cough, so cough syrups & management also cganges with everything, better have a chest x-ray done & consult your physician before taking any of the medicines.
