My 4 years old daughter (weight 12.5 kgs) frequently catches cold n cough. She is suffering from cough n wheezing for which I tried allegra along with tixylix syrup. She didn't recovered from cough. I started giving her augmentin dds 2.5 ml from today along with tixylix cough syrup. For how many days shall I give her augmentin dds? Please guide something to make her immunity better.

I think it can be allergic cough. Why augmentin? If there is no fever, no infection, don't give antibiotics without prescription from a proper doctor. Show her to a good doctor and give nebulisation etc. Doctor may also start bronchodilator and anti allergy. I wish her a speed recovery.

No antibiotics needed. Nebulization helps best Avoid all cold and sour foods, give her warm milk. Give her multivitamins to boost her immunity, if she can take oranges,,, 2 weeks after her cough subsides totally, begin with oranges
