Kidney friendly vegetables/grains which do not increase serum creatinine phosphorus and potassium. My creatinine is 0.98 and gfr is 86 I am 58 years old. Should I avoid totally potato, banana and or take in moderate quantity. Thank you for your help.

Choosing plant sources of protein, such as beans, nuts, and tofu, may reduce creatinine levels. Whole grains with lower potassium and phosphorus content: barley. Buckwheat (kasha) bulgur. Popcorn. Wild rice.
