I have indirect bilirubin which is 0.95 which is slightly higher than mean level of 0 - 0.85. Other liver/kidney tests are normal. Have lower hdl at 27.5 and ldl at 135. Hence cholesterol ratio is higher. Leading a sedentary lifestyle. Is tamarind good for overall health with regard to maintaining cholesterol levels and liver function. I have symptoms of redness/ dryness in eyes also. Do I have fatty liver- as I am non alcoholic and do not smoke either. However have started walking since last month 4 times a week. Requested to guide me in this regard and with specific information about consumption of tamarind. Thanks.
