I am suffering from htn, dm-2 and bipolar disorder for rhe last about 10 yrs. I am a male of 62 years age .in addition to medicines for the above conditions I am taking following supplements for the past many years :- 1 multivitamin supradyn 1 od 2 evion400 1 od 3 vitamin c 500 mg 1 od 4 calcium 500 mg 1 od 5 seven seas cod liver oil capsules 2 bd my question is does taking these vitamins offer any benefits? Are their any harms in taking these supplements? Should I continue to take these supplements for thw rest of my life? Supplements I am taking pn my own. Dr. has not prescribed these. Can I take these on my own. Do these offer any benefits or are there any harmful effects? Will these unnecessarily put extra load on the kidneys? A detailed reply is requested please.
