My mom aged 63 is diagnosed with liver cirrhosis early stage. She is been advised with taking rifagut 550 and diet restrictions. The problem is she has a burning stomach after taking this tablet and a constant pain below the stomach. Is it good for her to continue this tablet? Is there any way to reverse this condition or prevent it by getting worse further. She has non-alcoholic fatty liver cirrhosis. Note: her mom had the same liver cirrhosis problem.

It is a progressive disease, developing slowly over many years. If it is allowed to continue, the buildup of scar tissue can eventually stop liver function.if she is feeling stomach pain nd burning you must const your doctor who prescribed the medicine. These are the side effects of medicine. She may take any acidity medicine with this medicine.
