I am 3-4 week pregnant, my beta hcg is 15,431. I am thyroid patient on 88 mcg dose, I got it tested and my tsh level comes up 10.14. I got my vaginal ultrasound done on 10/12/19, Dr. said she cant see umbilical cord, she asked me to check beta hcg again after 48 hrs. Does it can be a fake pregnancy? How much does of thyronorm I need to take now? Note- I have a medical history of 2 miscarriage, I am a mommy of 3.5 years daughter now.

Hi lybrate-user regarding the thyroid profile. I want to know whether you have taken the test in empty stomach or empty stomach with previous 88 mcg dose. I mean whether the test is done with or without tablets as its very important to tirate the dosage. 3 to 4 weeks with 15000 b. Hcg is something very high but you can do a repeat b hcg test at 48 hours to find out if it doubles there is no umbilical cord formation possible in this early pregnancy in so much early weeks so may be a gestational sac is what your doctor would have meant so kindly go ahead to do the repeat test to rule out ectopic pregnancy connect for more details and queries on this topic personally.
