On feb 9, I had a blow to the head from a martial arts event. I had a brief loss of consciousness, daze/confusion for the rest of the day. I was diagnosed with with concussion, which i've had 2 prior. Ct scan was done in the emergency department which showed no evidence of bleeding. On feb 12/13, I started developing more symptoms. Mainly, issues focusing with my eyes, positional headaches, vomiting, further sensitivity to light/sound, stiffness, difficulty getting words out of my mouth, and soreness. I'm mildly hypertensive, pulse is resting at 65, oxygen saturation is 99%, pupils are perrl to 3 mm, no weakness, moderate hyperflexia in bilateral patellar tendon reflexes which has always been normal for me, no gait problems aside from feeling stiff. I feel like I should be getting better instead of worse though. Do you think it's likely that I have some sort of brain bleed, or that I need to go back to the emergency department & be re-scanned? Is this stuff that can come up suddenly several days after a concussion? Thank you.
