Received query after 2 1/2 months. Such problem is common in children below 5 years and normally is under control by about 5 years and as child grows. Change in weather, pollution, dust, strong odor, unclean bed cobers, furnishings, synthetic polyfibre clothes, domestic animals are usual causes. All precautions necessary. For symptomatic relief ascoril ls expectorant, relent syrup or allegra, budecort and levolin nebulisation twice a day for 5-6 days should help. If persists consult same child specialist. May be there is occasional viral or bacterial infection. Which requires extra medication.
